Cruise Tourism for a Better Future
By supporting local businesses, fostering education, and preserving cultural heritage, we ensure that the benefits of cruise tourism reach beyond the present, leaving a valuable legacy for future generations. Believing in the power of collaboration and responsible practices, we work with our partners to shape a future where cruise tourism enriches lives, supports communities, and protects the environment.
Crotone Cruise Port is proud to be part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme, helping us provide a more accessible and inclusive experience for all guests. The Sunflower symbol allows people with non-visible disabilities, conditions or chronic illnesses to discreetly indicate that they may need additional time, understanding or support. Our team has received dedicated training to recognise the Sunflower and assist guests throughout their port experience.

Crotone Cruise Port took part in Global Ports Holding’s (GPH) worldwide initiative for International Coastal Cleanup Day. Under the banner “From Every Port, For Every Coast,” participants gathered at Playa Spearfishing Crotone, together with the Municipality of Crotone, to contribute to cleaner coasts and emphasize the importance of protecting our marine ecosystem.
Crotone Cruise Port actively promotes the local territory through its retail, prioritizing products sourced locally and produced within the region. This approach allows visitors to take home authentic Calabrian flavors and crafts while supporting small businesses and local producers, fostering economic growth and showcasing the excellence of Crotone and Calabria in a sustainable and responsible way.
